tomiga — Wed, 15 Apr 2020 06:53:58 +0000

The phone calls gives some extra possibilities related to interactions with celebrities so what is your idea for some call from them? The best would be to prepare whole script (as it the quest in most cases you have few questions) and consequences of your actions.

Idea for new question for press conferences / interviews

tomiga — Wed, 15 Apr 2020 06:51:20 +0000

While there is almost 150 questions which can be asked during interviews or press conferences definitely after some time you will be bored with them. So what is you ideas concerning questions and more important some example answers which could be asked to you on those events.

The question part is quite easy more tricky is to prepare some interesting/fun answers... I count on your creativity ;)

Problems with Sundance

apostle — Mon, 17 Feb 2020 18:18:25 +0000

After the first 2-3 movies I make, I'm no longer able to submit films to the Sundance Festival. It is not a problem with festivals in general, as I am still able to submit films to Warsaw, Cannes, and the Oscars. Is there a certain criteria for Sundance that separates it from the other festivals and keeps me from submitting, or is this a bug?

dester23 — Fri, 14 Feb 2020 20:47:09 +0000

I want to edit some no updated creators and the only thing I can do is propose a new one.

Are you the only one who can modify them?

Anyone win the Palm D'Or yet?

mrTrueSky — Sun, 01 Sep 2019 04:27:45 +0000

So, I've gotten pretty close to winning twice. It's the first game where I got there. Any advice for how to actually win rather than just be nominated? Thanks.

Inflation

dester23 — Fri, 26 Apr 2019 16:01:11 +0000

Practically in every game that I play at some point of post 2010 the inflation on the cast salary and the studio cost are so high that is impossible make a movie. A movie with mediocre actors can cost you 40-50 million. But this inflation isn't tied to the revenue inflation. It has happened to someone else?

Usually around 2015-2016 I Have around 600 millions and I end broke in 2 years (not only me also de AI)

What do you think about English film reviews in the game.

tomiga — Thu, 21 Feb 2019 07:04:58 +0000

Descriptive reviews in the game is one of the feature which I am proud most (especially the Polish one which had much more complicated grammar than English). Of course they are the best in Polish version of the game. It is quite obvious as I am native speaker in this language. But there are few other reasons behind it.

Because quite big number of texts used in the reviews (now 5400) most of them are automatically translated. As they came from real reviews of users and critics a lot of them are context sensitive and uses some slang or complicated idioms which do not make much sense when translated buy machines.

So what do you think about current reviews in English. Do they impress you (even if there are some problems with translation?).

Do they bring some benefits to the game?

Would you contribute if there would be some online tool which would allow you to fix some of the translations manually?
